Emma's introduction to the world of scuba started the day before her 18th birthday, which happened to be her Dad’s 50th. "We were in the British Virgin Islands and his birthday wish was to go for a dive with myself and my sister. Since then I have immersed myself in the underwater world through recreational diving, technical diving and free diving, as well as becoming a scuba instructor. The wide eyed elation I experienced after my first dive has never left me and is something I continue to experience the more I explore the world beneath the waves." As a photographer, Emma aims to capture not only the beauty of the underwater world but the emotions she experiences in that moment.
