"Discovering the world of freediving when I moved to Australia four years ago completely changed my life. It reaffirmed my love of the ocean and its therapeutic qualities. To me, it is a place of calm amongst the chaos and a place to quiet the noise of the everyday. During lockdown, the ocean was my escape, and it was during this time that I first picked up a camera. Having zero experience and being completely self-taught, it has been a wild, and sometimes frustrating, journey of trial and error, but slowly I have discovered what works (and what doesn’t!) I most enjoy documenting the wonderful and varied wildlife that inhabit our shores, as well as freedivers who are completely at home in this otherworldly dimension. "
