We were snorkelling when I noticed a shark in the depth. I had never seen that species in the wild, but the fins were unmistakable, it was an oceanic whitetip! We observed it for a while as it continued to peacefully cruise in the sunrays.

Oceanic whitetips are listed as critically endangered on the IUCN red list.
